About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to help turn manufacturing builds into production-ready components. You’ll design, optimise, and validate post-processing methods that deliver high-quality results across industries such as aerospace, automotive, and energy. This is a cross-functional role where you’ll work with materials scientists, design engineers, and production teams to scale processes efficiently and meet customer standards.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and implement post-processing workflows (support removal, surface finishing, heat treatment, coatings).
  • Run experiments (DOE) to optimise processes and improve quality, cost, and cycle times.
  • Document methods clearly to ensure repeatability and compliance.
  • Collaborate with NPI, QA, and design teams to transition prototypes into full-scale production.
  • Analyse data, propose improvements, and support customer audits with validation evidence.
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering (or similar).
  • At least 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
  • Skills in CAD (SolidWorks/NX), GD&T, and statistical analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with AM technologies and materials science basics.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management abilities.
Bonus points
  • Experience with automation/robotics, aerospace/automotive manufacturing, Lean/Six Sigma, or ERP/MES systems.
