Manufacturing Engineer

Ledbury

Up to £45,000

My client is a well-established engineering company that designs, manufactures and supplies a range of products. As a Manufacturing Engineer, your role will focus on new product introduction, development of manufacturing processes, managing manufacturing projects and continuous improvement projects.

Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities;
- Translate engineering designs/specifications into clear work instructions for the manufacturing teams
- Managing both manufacturing and continuous improvement projects
- Implementing the visible controls, measurement tools and business support systems
- Apply lean manufacturing techniques across all areas of production
- Providing technical support to all production staff and the wider team
- New product introduction projects
- Ensure that all production targets are achieved

Manufacturing Engineer Experience;
- Previous experience working in either a Manufacturing Engineer, a Production Engineer, a CI Engineer or equivalent position
- Experienced working within ISO9001 standards
- Knowledge of engineering systems and the ability to deploy Continuous Improvement Toolset
- Managing manufacturing projects from initial concept to delivery
- Knowledge of injection mould processes would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Must be a team player

Based in Ledbury this Manufacturing Engineer opportunity offers a salary up to £45,000 and is commutable from Hereford, Malvern, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham and Worcester.
