Job title: Manufacturing Engineer

SALARY: circa £42,000! DOE

LOCATION: Letchworth

The role:

This role involves supporting the development and production manufacturing lines by translating design requirements into clear user instructions and overseeing the project manufacturing architecture. You will be responsible for providing daily support to operations staff, identifying and resolving manufacturing issues, and ensuring the successful introduction of new products.

Key tasks include managing configuration control, supporting industrial validation processes like FMEA and process proving, and addressing non-conformance issues. You'll also ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while working closely with the Principal Engineer and liaising with design authorities during product development.

This position offers the opportunity to expand your expertise in manufacturing, particularly in areas such as industrial validation and future-oriented manufacturing principles.

Essential

  1. Formal technical engineering or craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3, TR23, or TR21.
  2. Further education certificate to HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject, or a BEng in a relevant engineering degree.
  3. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  4. Proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring delivery milestones are met.
  5. Ability to interpret design drawings and create manufacturing build instructions.

For Security Clearance reasons to work this role you must have British citizenship or be a dual with British citizenship.
