Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer - Dimensional - Initial 12 month contract

Salary: £49.50 DOE (Umbrella)

Location: Derby

As a Manufacturing Engineer Dimensional you will be doing:

1. Day to day technical support, covering the following processes: Computer Tomography, CMM, Ultrasonic, Comparator Gauges and Caliper Gauges.
2. Measurement System Analysis studies (Gauge R&R) to validate changes to the measurement system.
3. Lead improvement activities in the dimensional cell to aid cost savings, cell capacity increase, quicker data access, improved data integrity.

Experience and skillset - Manufacturing Engineer Dimensional

1. Previous experience in a manufacturing engineering and/or process engineering.
2. Analytical and problem-solving knowledge (six-sigma/lean techniques).
3. Comfortable presenting data at all levels.
4. Previous experience in Measurement Systems or an interest in developing professionally in that area.
