This is an exciting opportunity to work on precision forming projects, designing and developing processes that shape extruded aluminium to meet exact customer specifications. If you're a problem solver with hands-on engineering experience in forming or CNC bending and would like a chance to join a company that offers an excellent benefits package and great job security, this could be the role for you!

Key responsibilities:
  1. Develop and refine forming processes to meet customer specifications for profile accuracy, cosmetic finish, and tolerances.
  2. Design forming tooling and coordinate with internal and external toolmakers for production.
  3. Set up and validate new contracts, ensuring they align with both customer and internal requirements.
  4. Oversee initial production runs, identifying opportunities for process improvements and optimisation.
  5. Work alongside CNC machining and Welding Engineers to provide complete engineering solutions.
  6. Support cross-functional tasks and contribute to other departments as required.
  7. Continuously develop forming expertise and stay updated with industry advancements.
  8. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities within the forming process.
  9. Assist in training and mentoring new team members, contributing to their development.
  10. Drive efficiency, innovation, and best practices within the manufacturing process.
