As a Manufacturing Engineer at Lexington Medical, you'll design and commission both simple and complex equipment to meet our in-house production needs. Our ideal candidate has hardware experience and aims to apply it to manufacturing and scaling production lines. Our manufacturing facility in Massachusetts offers engineers the opportunity to be hands-on and interact directly with the products we build.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, manufacture, and implement production fixturing and equipment, along with related processes.
2. Collaborate with external vendors to commission custom equipment for our production environment.
3. Support specific production processes and equipment as the primary engineer.
4. Document and maintain manufacturing process instructions.
5. Train production personnel on manufacturing processes.
6. Assist in Equipment Qualification and Validation testing.

Qualifications:

1. BSc or MSc in Mechanical, Biomedical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
2. Experience in manufacturing environments working with mechanical and/or electromechanical products.
3. Knowledge of various production methods and 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks).
4. Experience designing, fabricating, and debugging mechanical systems.
5. Continuous improvement mindset, eager to identify opportunities for positive change.
6. (Optional) Experience with industrial automation, wiring, and programming.
