Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Farnborough
Salary: GBP48,000 - GBP52,000

We re seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team at our Farnborough facility. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering efficient, high-quality manufacturing processes and supporting both day-to-day production and strategic projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace components in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer:

  • Design and implement efficient, cost-effective manufacturing methods and processes.
  • Support production with tooling, fixtures, and process improvements to ensure Right First Time standards.
  • Manage quality control documentation and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Analyse performance data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve production challenges.


What You ll Need:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
  • Background in aerospace manufacturing, ideally in welding, fabrication, or metal forming.
  • Strong working knowledge of engineering drawings, CAD tools (Catia, SolidWorks), and ERP systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.


Desirable Extras:

  • Green Belt Six Sigma, APQP/PPAP, or advanced quality tools experience.
  • Familiarity with NDT techniques and industry compliance requirements.


The Manufacturing Engineer role offers:

  • Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am 4:00pm, Friday 7:00am 12:00pm (39 hours/week)
