Job summary

CV Technical LTD in Romsey, Hampshire, is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to keep production equipment running efficiently. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across the site, with a double days shift pattern on Monday-Friday.

You'll bring a recognised electrical engineering qualification and experience in manufacturing; strong fault-finding skills; PLC experience is a plus; the company offers a £46,000 salary plus benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical engineering qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC or equivalent).
• Experience in manufacturing environments (FMCG, food, packaging or industrial).
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with PLC-controlled systems is advantageous.
• Proactive, hands-on approach to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of production machinery.
• Respond to electrical breakdowns and carry out fault finding and repairs.
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site.
• Work closely with production teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health, safety, and site procedures.
