This is an exciting role within our Manufacturing Design Engineering (MDE) team, focused on the design and development of improvements to products and processes to support manufacturing growth, new product launches, and continuous improvement projects.

The MDE will play a critical role in ensuring manufacturing and support teams are planning and executing according to specifications, efficiently delivering high-value capital equipment on time, in full, and to spec.

The role involves cross-organizational activities, developing multi-functional relationships, and enhancing technical capabilities of the MDE and support teams.

Candidates should have a broad understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and a desire for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide feedback on Design for Manufacture to Product Design and New Product Launch teams
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including assembly and test procedures
• Manage specifications with Enovia PLM (training provided)
• Lead multiple projects with cross-functional teams
• Investigate and resolve technical challenges in manufacturing processes
• Guide Supply Chain and Outsourcing teams technically
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Review and approve Engineering Change Orders
• Understand budgets and support CAPEX requests
• Implement changes following the Product Lifecycle process

• Are proficient with Solid Edge, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD Electrical (desirable)
