The Role

As the Manufacturing Controller, you will be responsible for the effective management of stores and inventory in a manufacturing environment. Your key duties will include:

  • Overseeing stock control and storekeeping, ensuring proper shelf life management
  • Loading manufacturing cells with the necessary work packages to meet production schedules and delivery targets
  • Packing and receiving/issuing of tools and equipment
  • Updating computer records and maintaining accurate inventory data
  • Kitting activities and loading/unloading of lorries


What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate for this Manufacturing Controller role will have:

  • Proven experience in a stores or manufacturing control environment
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a flexible, adaptable mindset
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Excel
  • Forklift truck licence and knowledge of Kanban or 2-bin systems (desirable)
