Consortium Professional Recruitment are pleased to be assisting an established manufacturing business in Scunthorpe to recruit a Compliance Manager. You will lead compliance across products, processes, and systems to meet regulatory and certification requirements and protect product integrity.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you will work with technical and operational teams, manage external auditors and certification bodies, and translate complex standards into practical actions that

Qualifications

• Significant experience within a compliance, technical or quality management role in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of product testing, certification and third-party approval processes.
• Experience interpreting and applying complex technical standards, legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing external audits, certification bodies and significant technical compliance projects.
• A track record of identifying compliance risks and resolving complex technical or regulatory challenges.

Responsibilities

• Leading compliance with relevant regulations, legislation, technical standards, certification schemes and third-party approvals.
• Maintaining product compliance throughout design, manufacture, certification and the wider product lifecycle.
• Managing relationships with certification bodies, testing organisations, auditors and other external technical partners.
• Reviewing engineering and product changes to ensure regulatory and certification requirements remain fully considered.
• Monitoring changes to legislation, standards and industry guidance, assessing business impact and coordinating appropriate actions.

Education

Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Construction or related discipline
