SF Recruitment is seeking a Buyer to join the procurement team for a site-based, full-time role in South Derbyshire. You will coordinate supply chain activities, liaise with suppliers, and support production with timely material delivery and accurate purchasing orders.

The ideal candidate will have a procurement background, experience with MRP/ERP systems, and strong Excel skills to manage orders and supplier performance on a daily basis.

Formación

• Procurement background essential.
• Able to liaise with suppliers regularly.
• Experience negotiating lead times.
• Capable of raising purchase orders and tracking orders.
• Strong communication with Production and Suppliers.

Responsabilidades

• Manage direct and indirect suppliers to ensure timely deliveries on site.
• Expedite orders and negotiate to improve lead times.
• Source products and obtain quotes for new materials.
• Collaborate with production/planning to meet material needs and deadlines.
• Raise purchase orders and resolve invoicing queries.
• Maintain system compliance and purchasing targets.
