What will I be doing?


As their Automation Technician, your role will be focused on maintaining, troubleshooting, and developing advanced automation technologies introduced to a modern filling and packaging environment.

You will enjoy a broad role that allows you to contribute across multiple aspects of equipment automation and plant optimisation.

Your key responsibilities will include:



  • Diagnosing and resolving issues in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

  • Installing, commissioning, and supporting new automation equipment and technologies.

  • Ensuring accurate documentation and maintaining equipment data through CMMS systems.

  • Upholding all safety regulations and contributing to a culture of operational excellence.

  • Leading improvement initiatives and supporting the future automation strategy.

To thrive in this role, you will have:



  • An HNC/HND in Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Automation Engineering.

  • Practical experience working with manufacturing or industrial automation equipment.

  • Solid understanding of automation and safety systems, including PLCs (Siemens S7 preferred).

  • Familiarity with CMMS and SAP systems.

  • Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
