Job description

Job Description: Manufacturing Assembler at GE Vernova

Join our team to contribute to the green energy transition as a Manufacturing Assembler at GE Vernova.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assembling large power transformers to meet customer and production plans using Lean methodology.
  • Ensuring assembly, inspection, and testing are conducted according to specifications and instructions.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and routine maintenance.

Shift Patterns Available: 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, 10pm – 6am.

Qualifications:

  • Good general education with relevant qualifications.
  • Experience in light mechanical assembly or similar; electrical/electronic qualifications are a plus.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Compliance with EHS and GE Life Saving Rules.
  • Teamwork, manual handling skills, and ability to interpret diagrams and drawings.
  • Understanding of Lean manufacturing, Kanban, and flow techniques is advantageous.
