Job Description
  • Operating machine tools including CNC Punches, CNC Press Brakes, Rollers, Lockforming Equipment, and Hand Tools.
  • Maintaining machine tools, hand tools, and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and health & safety rules, including wearing PPE.
  • Completing training programs such as LEAN manufacturing courses by prescribed deadlines.
  • Acting in a lawful and ethical manner as per employment contract and staff handbook.
  • Collaborating with line managers for professional development and training needs.
  • Moving raw materials, breaking out machined parts, and transporting parts to required locations.
  • Sharpening and changing tools, removing scrap material, and pro-active machine maintenance.
  • Lifting and carrying heavy items safely.
  • Programming input with CPU control units.
  • Reading engineering drawings and measuring parts against specifications.
  • Working independently and as part of a team to meet production schedules.
  • Operating punch machines to cut and form metal parts of various thicknesses and lengths.
Requirements
  • Willingness to learn from experienced team members in engineering and warehousing.
  • Supporting team members with safety and production activities.
  • Collaborating with management to develop safety strategies and budgets.
  • Performing ad hoc duties as required by management.
