Rubicon Recruitment Agency Poole is seeking a Manual Turner to set and run manual lathes to tight tolerances, producing components from drawings and SOPs. You will work within a culture of continuous improvement and join a team that shares knowledge rather than siloing it.

Qualifications

• Experience setting manual lathe machines is an advantage but not essential.
• Manufacturing environment experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Understanding reading manufacturing drawings is an advantage but not essential.
• Basic computer and numerical literacy for data entry and technical drawings.
• Experience working to tight tolerances is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating manual lathes safely to manufacture components.
• Working from drawings, SOPs and process control documents.

Manual Turner – Poole – Up to £35,000

You'll be trusted to set and run manual lathes to tight tolerances, with your accuracy relied on every single shift.
