Job summary

Peaple Talent is seeking a Manual Machinist for a Kirkby-based engineering business. The role focuses on operating manual grinding and finishing machines, with a clear Mon-Fri daytime pattern and a 12:30pm Friday finish.

You'll work as part of a supportive team, handling cylindrical and surface grinding tasks, set-up of conventional lathes and milling machines, and ensuring production runs smoothly. A competitive salary (£35,000–£37,500) and comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Your role will be to manage the operation and running of specialist machinery, operating a range of grinding and manual finishing machines including cylindrical grinding, surface grinding, lapping and honing.

The role would suit someone who has some manual lathe/milling machinery experience looking for Mon-Fri working hours with a great benefits package.
