Job summary

Boneham & Turner, a precision engineering manufacturer near Mansfield in Nottinghamshire, is seeking a Manual Machinist to operate and set manual lathes, grinding machines and etching.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, a keen eye for detail and a pride in quality. A can-do attitude and commitment to health and safety are essential as you progress within the organisation.

Manual Machinist

Boneham & Turner are a precision engineering manufacturer based near Mansfield in Nottinghamshire. For over 100 years we have served the aerospace, motorsport and composite industries. We manufacture parts essential for the production and assembly of jigs and fixtures, work holding, hydraulic systems, machine building and tool manufacture.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the Boneham team, operating and setting manual lathes, grinding machines and etching

The ideal candidate will:

• Have at least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Have a keen eye for detail and perfect quality
• Take great pride in their work
• Demonstrate a can-do attitude
• Desire to continually learn and progress through the organisation
• Be open to adopting new work methods
• Always consider health and safety risks

Working hours are:

Monday to Thursday 8am – 4:30pm, Friday 8am – 1pm
