Metalis are currently working alongside a prestigious manufacturing company based in Northampton who due to growth are looking for an experienced Manual Machinist to join the team.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operating manual milling and turning machinery as well as cylindrical grinders
  • Using micrometers / verniers
  • Working with a variety of materials including stainless & mild steel
  • Following engineering drawings and specifications
  • Adhering to strict health and safety procedures


The ideal candidate must:

  • Have atleast 3 years within an engineering environment
  • Have previous experience operating manual milling & turning machinery
  • Have the ability to work from engineering drawings
  • Be proficient using manual measuring equipment and inspection equipment


Shifts & Salary:

  • 17.00ph
  • Days only, Monday - Friday (7:30am - 4:30pm, early finish on a Friday)
  • Permanent Opportunity
