Urgent Requirement: Manual Machinist - (Southampton Workshop)

We are urgently looking to re-resource a Manual Machinist for our Southampton-based workshop at Southampton.

Role Details:

• Location: Southampton Workshop (no driving license required)
• Contract Type: Initial 3-month temporary contract (£16-£17 per hour) with potential to go permanent depending on performance and qualifications
• Permanent Salary Range: £34,500 (NVQ Level 2) - Up to £40,000 (NVQ Level 3)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manual machinery including lathes, milling machines, drill presses, and grinders
• Interpret and work from isometric drawings
• Manually adjust speeds, feeds, and depths to achieve precision machining
