Job summary

Sammons is recruiting a Manual Machine Operative in Farnham, Surrey, offering £17.20 per hour on a temporary, office-based site with Monday–Friday shifts. The role includes rotating 6:00am–2:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm, weekly pay, and full training on company machinery.

We value candidates with manufacturing experience operating manual equipment, good attention to detail, and a focus on quality. Cleanroom experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Machine Operative within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating manual machinery.
• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
• The ability to follow detailed instructions and production procedures.
• A reliable and flexible approach to work.
• Good health & safety awareness.
• Cleanroom experience is highly desirable, although not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operating manual machinery safely and efficiently.
• Setting and adjusting machinery as required.
• Following production instructions and processes.
• Carrying out quality checks throughout production.
• Working accurately to specifications and tolerances.
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area.
• Following all health & safety and company procedures.
• Working as part of a wider production team to meet daily targets.
