The Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a manual machinist to work for one of our fantastic clients based in Stockport. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to join a company that really invests in there people and a chance to work with a market leader. Previous machine operating experience is essential and exposure to CNC milling would be advantageous. The ability to read engineering drawings is also essential for this role. Duties of the role of Manual Machinist will include:

• Operating machines
• Milling
• Working with powered and non powered hand tools
• Read and Understand engineering drawings
• Removing sharp edges from components
• Measuring and marking components
• Adhering to all health and safety rules onsite

• Have great attention to detail
• Have the ability to work with engineering drawings
• Be a team player
• Have good written and verbal communication skills
