Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret drawings to tight tolerances.
• Set up manual machine tools and control speeds/feeds.
• Use verniers, bore gauges and micrometres for inspection.
• Deburr and finish machined components during production cycles.
• Maintain a methodical, efficient and quality-focused approach.
• Contribute to team output and meet production deadlines.

Manual Machinists – Miller, Turner or Dual Skilled - Perm Days

Elevated Engineering Solutions is looking for experienced Manual Machinists – Millers, Turners or Dual Skilled to join our team in Middleton. Part-time applications will also be considered.

We are looking for reliable, motivated and proactive individuals with a strong work ethic and a genuine commitment to maintaining high standards and helping drive the business forward.

The successful candidates will have the skills and experience required to produce high-quality machined components accurately, efficiently and consistently, while working to our exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately and work confidently to tight tolerances.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting challenging production deadlines.
• Carry out all aspects of manual machine tool setting, with a strong understanding of appropriate cutting speeds and feeds.
• Use a range of precision measurement and inspection equipment, including verniers, bore gauges and micrometres.
• Carry out deburring and finishing of machined components during production cycles, ensuring minimal disruption to workflow and output.
• Maintain a methodical, efficient and quality-focused approach to all work.
• Take pride in producing consistently high-quality components and contributing positively to the wider team.
