Mandatory training will be provided for this role as well as a Driving Assessment to complete. Estimated duration of training is 1 week. Please ensure you are able to complete the training.

Looking for an exciting opportunity? We are hiring Delivery Drivers to join the Waitrose team to deliver groceries and household essentials to customers in Redhill, City of London, Dartford and Richmond.

What you can expect to do:

• Safely and efficiently operate a commercial 3.5T manual van to deliver to our customers
• Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to customers
• Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Keeping the van clean and tidy (incl washing) and refuel (filling station on site)

This role may entail working with heavy products and involves lifting.

What we're looking for:

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (no more than 3 penalty points)
• Exceptional customer service skills, capable of building strong relationships with customers

Although this is a flexible 0-hour role, we are extremely busy and can offer a good level of work.

• 8-hour day shift (Start time between 12:00pm - 3:00pm.)
• Flexible start time (dependant on route and delivery needs)
• Holidays
• PM Drivers full time to include 1 day at weekends (must be able to work at least 1 day a few weekends per month)

If you have a short route, you may be asked to help other drivers out or complete tasks within the warehouse to complete your 8 hour shift.

Please note that due to the nature of the role, your shift can overrun so you must be flexible.
