Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking a Manoeuvring Room and Marine Engineering Instructor/Trainer to join our client on a site-based role at Clyde, Faslane. You will deliver simulation-based training for Astute Class Marine Engineering, Maintainer, and Nuclear Steam Raising Plant Operator programmes, coaching learners throughout the course.

The role requires a Category A/B/C Watchkeeper qualification with submarine service experience and DBS clearance.

Qualifications

• Must hold qualification as a Category A, B or C Watchkeeper (Royal Navy Submarine Service)
• Knowledge of serving on a submarine
• DBS clearance/ happy to undergo clearance

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programmes on Astute Class Marine Engineering, Maintainer, and Nuclear Steam Raising Plant Operator, and other programmes as required.
• All delivery occurs on client site via simulation.
• Coach, support and motivate learners throughout training.
• Carry out administrative tasks and liaise with training design team for programme reviews and amendments.
