The NHS is seeking a Mandatory Training and Professional Development Funding Senior Lead to manage CPD funding and oversee high-quality mandatory training programs. This role is crucial for delivering evidence-based care and ensuring compliance with national standards, working closely with Bournemouth University.
Job summary
The Mandatory Training and Professional Development Funding Senior Lead will be accountable for mandatory training and eLearning at University Hospitals Dorset. This role will contribute to the delivery of high quality, evidence-based care that meets local and national indicators. The post holder will act as an expert resource and role model in all education matters, both internally and when representing the Trust with external partners.
The post holder will be responsible for managing the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) funding from NHS England and overseeing the Trust's Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) process.

This may involve some services relocating to different sites either temporarily or long-term. Recruiting Managers will be happy to discuss specific questions about this during interviews.
Please note: If the role or service is relocated as part of a planned move, employees will not be eligible for excess mileage reimbursement. Travel from the postholder's home to the new work base will be considered a normal commute. Other changes not related to relocation will be managed according to relevant Trust or National terms and conditions.
