Job summary

Dorset HealthCare is seeking a Mandatory trainer/Clinical Educator to design, deliver and evaluate a programme of mandatory training across inpatient services in Dorset. The post holder will develop clinically relevant education aligned with national and trust objectives to enable high-quality patient-centred care.

The role requires a strong clinical background, outstanding communication skills and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Registered practitioner to degree/diploma level supplemented by diploma level.
• Ability to demonstrate and highlight benefits to end users
• Teaching experience
• Experience of managing change
• Demonstrable competency in a suite of clinical nursing skills
• Experience of working in a project environment
• Knowledge of project deployment
• Must have a car and driving licence
• Confident in the use of Microsoft Office Products

Dorset Health Care University Trust are looking to recruit a Mandatory trainer/Clinical Educator to work to support of our Inpatient services across Dorset. The post holder will be responsible for the development, delivery, and evaluation of a programme of mandatory training and clinically relevant practice education to support the professional development of the organisation. The appointed individual will have a specific focus on enabling the delivery of high-quality patient/person centred care that is grounded in evidence-based practice and underpinned by national, organisational and trust objectives, guidelines, and policies. The person we are looking for will have; a strong clinical background with recent clinical experience, excellent communication skills, ability to engage and influence at all levels, demonstrate a passion for education and act as a professional role model. We will provide appropriate support and opportunities for your continued development. Please note visa sponsorship for this role is unfortunately not available.
