What You'll be Doing:

  • Assist Head of IT to ensure the Branch IT department to behave ethically and act in full compliance with relevant Laws and Regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain the COMMS room and DR site, and keep them in an available, stable and healthy status.
  • Ensure proper management of the Branch IT infrastructure projects and subsequent upgrades and expansions.
  • Manage reliable and secure IT networks, systems, and services, identifying problems, and recommending and implementing improvements to meet business needs.
  • Ensure IT networks, systems and services are monitored and maintained to high levels of quality in accordance with industry standard best practice.
  • Ensure IT security controls monitored and maintained to a high standard.
  • Specify requirements for external and internal support providers to ensure effective delivery of IT services developed on behalf of the business and IT Teams.
  • Support London Branch employees with IT requirements to ensure they have the right technology and IT support for their day-to-day work.
  • Perform any other duties as directed by the Head of IT or Senior Management.
  • Other duties assigned by General Manager or COO.

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Extensive relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of infrastructure, general IT, network, server, VM, cyber security, Database, Web development.
  • Proven experience in managing IT projects.
  • Preferably to be Familiar with general Banking systems and trading platforms, such as Bloomberg and Reuters, know about related IT regulatory and policies for Bank etc.
  • A background in finance or banking. Previous background with financial & regulatory projects would be a strong plus.
  • Certifications IT technical related are a plus, for example, MCITP, MCSD, VCP, CCIE/HCIE.
  • Fluent English and Mandarin.
  • Ability to multitask.
