Job summary

People First Team Japan/ピープルファーストチームジャパン is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking to join our London operations. You will support the department to achieve targets, manage cross-border client relations, and tailor financing solutions for multinational Chinese clients.

You will handle credit proposals and coordinate with Head Office where necessary. The role requires a bankers’ mindset, fluency in Mandarin, and collaboration across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong understanding of corporate financing activities and banking products.
• Working knowledge of EU Syndicated Loans.
• Experience collaborating across time zones.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to the Corporate Banking Department to meet objectives and targets.
• Facilitate cross-border communication with Chinese and multinational companies, offering quality products and services.
• Advise clients, structure products and services to meet needs, prepare credit proposals and analyses.
• Assist clients with a range of requests as the direct point of contact.
• Initiate credit proposals and manage the full credit approval process, including Head Office if needed.
