This is a unique role involving all aspects of establishing a new Asian food restaurant, from site selection to grand opening. You will be responsible for tasks such as choosing the restaurant site, selecting the construction team, and organizing the opening. This role offers variety and autonomy.

TITLE: Mandarin Restaurant Development Manager

SALARY: up to £55,000 + benefits

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE: Experience in restaurant or hotel chain development

COMPANY DETAILS: Working with a leading Asian food supplier and manufacturer, operating in 19 countries, expanding into restaurant ownership to diversify culinary offerings.

ROLE: Full responsibility for opening a London-based restaurant, from site selection to grand opening.

DUTIES: Identify, negotiate, build, and open the restaurant.

• Identify potential restaurant sites based on consumer data and commercial zones.
• Create business cases evaluating ROI and revenue potential.

2. Agree on Site Acquisition & working with landlords

• Select the site and negotiate lease/purchase terms.
• Coordinate with legal team for contracts.
• Manage construction bidding process.
• Review store design plans.
• Coordinate supply chain for equipment and furniture.

4. Open the restaurant

• Lead licensing and approval processes.
