Job Title: Mandarin / English Part-time Education Advisor (Sales) – Coventry

Contract Type: Casual

Working Hours: Up to 20 hours per week

Location: Coventry (on-site)

Salary: £11.44 per hour plus uncapped commissions

Overall Purpose of the Job:

UKEC is looking for dynamic and highly driven individuals who envision a fun & challenging career in the education consultancy industry and will effectively promote international education and continuously strive to achieve sales targets.

The Key Tasks Include but are not limited to:

1. Share responsibility for the recruitment of international students and actively assist the team to achieve recruitment targets.
2. Proactively plan and execute recruitment and marketing activities (both online & offline) to promote our services and help achieve targets.
3. Deal with student enquiries and provide professional consultation services to students.
4. Liaise with universities and students to track applications, arrange interviews, and field any general or specific enquiries as well as advocate on behalf of students.
5. Visit students off-site for counselling and information sessions, distribute leaflets, and take part in recruitment events such as education fairs and open days.
6. Be available for ad hoc and regular company training and deliver information sessions at regular company meetings.
7. Maintain good communication with colleagues and keep the centre manager informed of application statuses or problems.
8. Undertake other relevant tasks as requested by the centre manager or the company.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experiences:

1. Have a university degree in any discipline.
2. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
3. Have excellent sales skills.
4. Have a strong sense of market knowledge.
5. Be able to meet targets and deadlines and work well under pressure.
6. Have excellent customer service skills.
7. Be responsible, mature, reliable, and honest.
8. Be a committed team player but also dependable enough to work individually with minimum supervision.
9. Have a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
10. Having a network or customer base in the local international student community would be a distinct advantage.
11. The successful candidate must, by the start of employment, have permission to work in the UK.
