Job summary

French Selection in London is seeking a Mandarin or Cantonese speaking Assistant Finance Manager. The role is hybrid, with 1 day per week in the office, and offers a salary up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience.

Qualifications

Fluent in English and Mandarin or Cantonese (written and spoken).
Degree in Finance/Accountancy or similar.
Professionally qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
Experience in a finance role with strong accounting, reporting and cash flow skills.
Strong Excel and overall MS Office proficiency. SAP experience desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day finance operations, reporting, cash flow, and controls.
Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely invoice processing and payments.
Oversee month-end and year-end reporting including statutory and management accounts.
Manage cash flow, banking activities, and intercompany transactions.
Supervise finance team and provide guidance for issue resolution.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Ensure tax compliance and audit readiness.
