Job Description:

Essential Experience: Good understanding of Chinese state-owned organization working culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for Chinese clients, fostering long-term relationships and identifying opportunities for cross-selling specialist services.
2. Consulting & Compliance: Provide in-depth support to clients, including explaining legal advice within compliance frameworks.
3. Business Development: Generate new leads through networking, workshops, and collaboration with internal teams.
4. Marketing & Outreach: Translate marketing materials, conduct client surveys, and organize seminars for Chinese companies.
5. Reporting: Maintain detailed client records, prepare weekly activity reports, and propose sales strategies to the Director of Chinese Services.
6. Events & Proposals: Arrange client workshops, draft proposals, and manage budgets ethically and professionally.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Fluent in Mandarin and English (written/spoken).
• Degree-educated or equivalent; legal qualifications are a strong plus.
• Proven sales/account management experience, preferably in legal/professional services or B2B environments.
• Deep understanding of Chinese corporate culture and experience working with international/state-owned enterprises.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior executives (MD/Director level).
• Tech-savvy (Microsoft Office, CRM tools); ability to organize events and travel within the UK/Europe.

Desirable:

• Background in legal services or consultancy.
• Experience with SRA compliance or similar regulatory frameworks.
