Job summary

United In Recruitment Ltd in the UK seeks a skilled HGV technician to join a large Renault Truck & Van dealership network. The role focuses on servicing, MOTs, and repairs for heavy goods vehicles across our Northwest branches.

Work is Monday to Friday with 8-hour shifts; Salford location; DOE. Benefits include 20 days holiday plus stats and a company pension. You will work with repair teams, maintain records, and support emergency on-road calls when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles.
• Ability to perform servicing, MOTs, and repairs.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform major and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicles and trailers.
• Carry out servicing, MOT preparation, and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and plan repairs with workshop teams.
• Maintain workshop records and paperwork.
• Provide on-road repair services when required.
