Job summary

QED Legal LLP in Manchester is seeking a Corporate Associate with 2–5 PQE to join a national law firm. You will be trusted to manage your own caseload and contribute to a growing corporate practice across the North West, with senior support and a broad transactional mix.

The role spans acquisitions and disposals, public company work including IPOs and fundraisings, due diligence and documentation, and general corporate work such as restructurings and joint ventures.

Qualifications

• Solicitor with 2–5 PQE; capable of handling own corporate caseload.
• Experience across M&A, private equity and ECM is desirable.
• Based in Manchester with national firm backing and varied work.

Responsibilities

• Lead acquisitions and disposals of shares, businesses and assets.
• Handle public company work, IPOs and secondary fundraisings.
• Carry out due diligence, data room reviews and disclosures.
• Draft investment documents and ancillary corporate paperwork.
• Engage with clients, support business development and tenders.
