Job description

Are you a Security Architect looking for a new and exciting opportunity?

As Managing Security Architect, you will be responsible for embedding security best practices and secure by design principles into our wide ranging client engagements, reporting to the Security Architecture Lead within Cyber Security.

Hybrid fixed in Hemel Hempstead 4 days per week 1 day home working

DV Cleared or eligible.

What you’ll be doing:

  1. Collaborate with teams and architects to embed security into solutions rather than adding it later.
  2. Lead efforts to help clients understand their security challenges.
  3. Take a risk-based approach to security design.
  4. Use industry-standard security architecture frameworks.
  5. Design security controls to address current and future cyber threats.
  6. Ensure security solutions align with clients’ overall business objectives.
  7. Operate at the front line of cybersecurity, delivering value to clients.

What you’ll bring:

  1. Successful track record within a Security Architecture function coupled with experience of leading large client engagements.
  2. Strong knowledge of Security Architecture principles, such as SABSA, and published frameworks or guidelines from organisations such as from NIST and NCSC.
  3. The ability to design and document effective security controls aligned to business objectives using a risk based approach.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with ability to assess complex situations, identify risks, and recommend effective solutions.
  5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, at all levels from Executives to end users.
  6. Knowledge and experience of Cloud Security would be beneficial.
