Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Managing Scientist for our Practice in our offices located in Harrogate (UK), Nottingham (UK), London (UK), Edinburgh (UK), Mannheim (Germany), Dublin (IE), or Basel (Switzerland). Remote working options are also available. In this role, you will collaborate with a team to provide regulatory and technical expertise in Biocide Regulatory Affairs. Your responsibilities include developing and implementing regulatory strategies for the approval of new and existing active substances at the community level and the authorization of biocide products on a national, EU, and global basis. You will project manage complex, multi-disciplinary regulatory projects, advise colleagues and clients on current and emerging regulatory processes and legislation, and contribute to the growth and development of the Biocides Regulatory Team and new business opportunities.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting products in a regulatory setting
  2. Preparing technical reports and dossiers
  3. Managing project work programs, including budget, communication, QA, and delivery
  4. Representing clients at meetings with regulatory authorities or within industry consortia
  5. Developing and implementing strategies for EU and global regulatory authorizations
  6. Providing strategic regulatory advice

Contributing to the expansion of the biocides business by:

  1. Promoting activities to attract new business opportunities
  2. Maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing clients
  3. Supporting business development initiatives
