Managing Quantity Surveyor
Up to £82,000 plus bonus plus package

We are currently recruiting a Managing Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial team on a large flood alleviation scheme in the East Midlands and help grow a new sector within the business. This role is an opportunity to be part of a site team working on a very technical and interesting project, with plenty of opportunity for progression.

My client is a multidisciplinary main contractor that operates nationally and turns over in the region of £1.3bn. They are an established award-winning business that has been growing steadily for the past 45 years. This opportunity falls within their Major Projects division which includes a Civil Engineering arm that is now the major focus of growth for the company, providing exciting opportunities for their employees.

Criteria:

1. Experience working as a Managing Quantity Surveyor on the contractor side
2. Experience with NEC form of contract is a must
3. Ideally have experience with subcontractor procurement
4. Experience delivering civil infrastructure schemes
5. Proven track record delivering civil engineering schemes – roads, earthworks, drainage, structures
6. You must be able to demonstrate longevity of service with a company (this role is not suitable for freelance professionals)
