The Digital Media Hub

OMD supports Nissan through a central Digital Media Hub, bringing together specialist expertise across Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic media to support markets across the region. The ambition of the hub is simple: to centralise biddable media where scale creates an advantage, deliver stronger and more consistent performance, and accelerate innovation and learning across markets.

The hub combines onshore, nearshore, and offshore specialists and manages a significant portfolio of digital activity across multiple markets.

The Role

The Managing Partner, Performance is the senior performance media leader for the Nissan Digital Media Hub. This individual will lead the hub’s Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic capabilities and be accountable for the quality, performance, and ongoing evolution of digital activation across the region.

The role requires someone who can connect Nissan’s business and marketing priorities to media activation, lead senior-level performance discussions, elevate the quality of work across markets, and build an ambitious performance culture across a distributed international team.

The successful candidate will combine deep performance media expertise with strong leadership and client management skills. A hands‑on activation background is essential, alongside the ability to move confidently between technical platform discussions, cross-channel performance strategy, and senior stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Nissan Digital Media Hub across Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic, setting the performance vision, standards, and priorities for the team in close collaboration with local market teams.

  • Own the quality of digital activation and performance across markets, ensuring channel strategies, campaign execution, optimisation, and measurement deliver stronger business outcomes.

  • Act as the senior performance media partner to Nissan and Nissan United leadership, providing clear strategic direction, interpreting performance data, and translating insights into action.

  • Lead and develop the hub’s senior performance leaders and wider specialist community, fostering a high-performance culture across onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams.

  • Connect expertise across Search, Social, and Programmatic to ensure the hub operates as an integrated performance engine rather than a collection of channel silos.

  • Drive a structured performance acceleration agenda, identifying opportunities within existing plans and transforming innovation, best practice, and test-and-learn initiatives into scalable market roadmaps.

  • Lead relationships with key media and technology partners, ensuring Nissan benefits from platform expertise, innovation opportunities, strategic partnerships, and the scale of OMD and Omnicom Media.

  • Partner closely with Client Success, Strategy, Investment, Analytics, and Operations teams to ensure performance activity aligns with market priorities, commercial opportunities, and the broader Nissan marketing agenda.

  • Champion the use of technology, automation, and AI where these enhance campaign performance, productivity, speed, or quality.

  • Maintain delivery excellence through strong governance, clear accountability, and proactive management of risk, resource, and performance issues.

  • Take ultimate accountability for the end-to-end performance and delivery of the Digital Media Hub, ensuring excellence in planning, activation, reporting, and financial management.

  • Contribute as a senior digital leader within the business, supporting the Digital Leadership Council in defining vision, standards, processes, and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the department.

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience in digital and performance media, with deep expertise across digital channels and strong knowledge of the wider media ecosystem.

  • Proven experience leading sizeable specialist teams and senior channel leaders across multiple markets or geographies.

  • Strong activation background with practical experience in campaign planning, platform implementation, optimisation, quality assurance, reporting, measurement, and financial management.

  • Ability to translate complex performance data and platform insights into clear strategic recommendations for senior clients and non-specialist stakeholders.

  • Excellent client leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently influence and challenge senior stakeholders when required.

  • Strong understanding of media platform partnerships, test-and-learn programmes, automation, and the evolving role of AI within performance marketing.

  • Commercially minded, with the ability to connect investment decisions, media partnerships, and campaign performance to broader business objectives.

  • Experience working across international markets, balancing centralised standards with local market nuances and requirements.

  • A proactive, curious, and decisive leadership style, capable of creating clarity and momentum in a fast‑moving environment.

  • A strong people leader who is passionate about developing talent, building connected teams, and creating an environment where specialists can thrive.

  • Strong knowledge of the media agency ecosystem.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organisational and leadership capabilities.

  • Exceptional attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Comfortable managing relationships with clients and colleagues while leading specialist teams to deliver efficient, high-quality output.

  • While you may not have worked hands‑on across every digital discipline, you will have developed deep expertise in at least one channel and understand the operational requirements necessary to activate successful digital campaigns.

To the extent permissible by local law, Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in‑office days are directed by their agency or manager.
