Job description

Due to expansion, Glazing Vision are recruiting for a Managing Director in the UK. You will need to have a background in Engineering, ideally a manufacturing company, and demonstrate successful leadership and growth success.

You will be involved in implementing the UK strategy and will work with the board to ensure the smooth operation of the UK business. You will lead engineering and manufacturing change within the company

Overall Role or Purpose of the job:

  • Responsible for carrying out the agreed strategy for Glazing Vision, driving future growth plans
  • Overseeing the daily operations of the business
  • Performance monitoring of all departments, ensuring all key performance metrics are hit (quality, lead time, budget)
  • Financial performance of the company to budget
  • Provide direction and leadership for all the employees of Glazing Vision
  • Ensure compliance to all legal, regulatory bodies and ensure the company maintains all our certification requirements (ISO, BRE etc.)
  • Evaluate current Health and safety procedures and ensure compliance of the company
  • Maximising commercial opportunities
  • Risk Management, identify potential risks to the organization and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Salary Circa 80k per annum plus bonus scheme
