Job Description:

The client operates across all sectors of the construction and engineering industry, offering diverse project exposure on domestic and international projects.

This Managing Director role is suited for current Directors with significant forensic delay analysis experience on live projects/contracts and experience acting as an Expert Witness.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct forensic analysis in alternative dispute resolution (ADR)
  • Provide clear and impartial evidence for tribunals (ADR)
  • Manage and develop the planning and delay team
  • Control, manage, and report contractual obligations from procurement to final account
  • Determine schedules, monitor programmes, and assess risks
  • Write reports for negotiations and formal dispute resolution procedures, including adjudication, mediation, and litigation
  • Provide accurate assessments of progress
  • Participate in business development to generate work and clients
Desired Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years of experience as a construction project planner, with formal disputes experience in a claims and disputes consultancy
  • Experience testifying as an expert witness
  • Ability to bring projects/clients into the business
  • Proficiency in producing and interpreting programmes and schedules for live projects
  • Exceptional report writing skills
  • Comfortable in a client-facing role
  • Leadership and management experience
