Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Managing Director for our Healthcare Division, overseeing the North region. Reporting to the UK CEO, the MD is responsible for regional operational performance, including people, quality, and financial management, ensuring safe and effective services aligned with Priory's values.

The North region includes 13 hospitals with over 700 beds across the North East, North West, and East Midlands. The role is primarily remote, with 50-60% travel within the region and occasional national travel to Head Office in Hammersmith for meetings, including overnight stays. Candidates must reside within this geographic area.

Leadership and Responsibilities:

• Lead regional operations, ensuring safety, quality, and financial targets are met.
• Manage and support a regional senior leadership team comprising HR, quality improvement, and finance partners.
• Coordinate with central specialist functions and regional talent acquisition and service development resources.
• Participate in monthly meetings at Head Office and regional events.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in healthcare management or similar leadership roles.
• Ability to travel extensively within the region.
• Residence within the North East, North West, or East Midlands.
