Certification Regime: This role involves performing a significant management certification function. Your fitness and propriety will be assessed annually, with certificates issued prior to and at least yearly during your tenure.

How you'll make an impact
  1. Lead with Vision: Manage the Glasgow branch with full P&L responsibility, setting and achieving growth objectives aligned with national strategy.
  2. Expand Our Reach: Increase local market presence by identifying opportunities across property, casualty, financial lines, motor, cyber, and specialty risks.
  3. Champion Client Success: Strengthen existing relationships and acquire new clients through Gallagher’s consultative, solutions-led approach.
  4. Empower Your Branch: Develop a talented, collaborative team, supporting their growth, succession planning, and celebrating successes.
  5. Drive Excellence: Maintain operational discipline and uphold high standards in compliance, client service, and placement strategy.
  6. Be Our Ambassador: Represent Gallagher as a regional ambassador—trusted, ethical, and client-focused.
About You
  • Proven Leadership: Successful track record in the insurance industry, ideally in senior broker roles.
  • Cross-Class Expertise: Strong understanding of cross-class commercial and corporate risks, capable of leading across multiple product lines.
  • Inspire Trust: Demonstrates confidence and credibility with clients and colleagues, inspiring trust and delivering value.
  • Performance-Driven: Experience managing P&L with a data-driven approach to performance improvement.

Qualifications: ACII/FCII qualification (or working towards it) is desirable but not essential.

Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the UK.
