About the Opportunity

The Managing Director - Europe is a key leadership position. The position is responsible for driving the overall growth, strategic direction, and the operational success of our clinical operations within the region. Reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a member of the Executive Committee, this role demands a dynamic leader who can guide diverse teams, manage client relationships, and achieve financial targets across the region while contributing to the overall strategic direction of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Leadership

  • Collaborate with fellow members of the Executive Committee to shape and execute the company's global strategy.
  • Provide regional insights and strategic input to support decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.
  • Align regional goals with the overall vision and mission of the company, ensuring coherence across all business units.

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for Europe, ensuring alignment with the company's global goals and objectives.
  • Drive growth initiatives, market expansion, and revenue generation across the region.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks specific to the region.

Operational Management

  • Oversee clinical operational aspects of the business in Europe, including service delivery, and client relations.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services, adherence to timelines, and maximization of client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational processes, enhance efficiency, and improve service quality.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a diverse and high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Provide mentorship and support to team members, encouraging their professional growth and development.
  • Set clear performance goals, conduct evaluations, and recognize exceptional contributions.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients within the region, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and delivering outstanding customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering strategic insights, identifying opportunities for collaboration, and proactively addressing challenges.
  • Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to explore and secure new business opportunities within the region.

Financial Oversight

  • Provide financial leadership for Europe, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial performance & all aspects of operational performance.
  • Ensure that financial targets are met or exceeded, driving profitability and sustainable growth within the region.

Organizational Contribution

  • Serve as a key representative of the region on the Executive Committee, ensuring that regional perspectives are integrated into global strategies.
  • Lead initiatives that contribute to the overall organizational culture, values, and long- term vision.
  • Advocate for the region's needs and opportunities within the broader corporate structure, ensuring the region's success aligns with the company's global ambitions.
