Job summary

Mackie Myers partners with an ambitious engineering and clean technology business to appoint a Managing Director who will drive growth and industrialisation. You will own strategy, P&L, and lead engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and commercial delivery to scale the organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience within engineering and manufacturing.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with P&L ownership.
• Experience taking complex products from development to scaled manufacturing.
• Proven ability to build teams, processes and operating models in a growing org.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the long-term business strategy and growth plan.
• Take full ownership of the P&L, including revenue, margin, cash, working capital and investment priorities.
• Lead the transition from product development to scalable manufacturing and commercial delivery.
• Develop the product and technology roadmap in line with customer and market requirements.
• Build and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, quality, service and finance.
• Develop a scalable go-to-market strategy, converting early customer engagement into repeatable revenue and long-term partnerships.
• Lead strategic customer relationships, major bids, commercial negotiations and partnerships.
• Establish robust manufacturing, quality and supply-chain processes to support increased production volumes.
• Oversee the full customer journey from initial requirements through build, deployment, commissioning and ongoing support.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, compliance and operational governance.
• Build the organisational capability, processes and culture required to support significant future growth.
