Job description

Our client is a global leader in the manufacture and supply of aftermarket automotive products and accessories, serving both private and commercial vehicle markets. With a long-standing reputation for quality, innovation, and customer focus, the business is entering an exciting phase of strategic growth and transformation across its EMEA operations.

About the Role

The company now seeks an accomplished Managing Director to lead its regional organisation, driving performance and delivering on ambitious growth objectives. As Managing Director you will lead the strategic direction, operational excellence, and commercial performance of this complex multi-site automotive aftermarket manufacturer. You will be aided by a strong market presence and investment support.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic, commercial, and operational direction of the EMEA business in alignment with global objectives.
  • Deliver sustainable growth through organic development, market expansion, and targeted acquisitions.
  • Inspire and develop a high-performing, multi-site leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
  • Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial functions.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with key OEMs, suppliers, and strategic customers across the region.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
  • A proven senior leader with at least 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, with at least 5+ years at executive level within the automotive aftermarket industry.
  • Demonstrable success managing within complex international operations and delivering sustained commercial growth.
  • Deep understanding of business operations, supply chain management, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong financial and operational acumen with experience overseeing significant P&L accountability (£30m+).
  • Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and a track record of leading transformation.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
