Job summary

Pratap Partnership Ltd seeks a commercially driven Managing Director for its established construction products business in the UK. You will assume full leadership with P&L accountability and steer growth across revenue and margins.

You will build on current foundations while expanding value-added offerings and strengthening relationships with customers, suppliers and manufacturers. Location is South Normanton, Derbyshire, with UK and European travel.

Pratap Executive are retained to appoint the Managing Director of an established c.£20m construction products business, backed by a leading European manufacturer.

With strong foundations, an experienced team and an established market position, the business is ready for its next phase of growth. The opportunity is to build on what already works while unlocking further potential across revenue, margin, market reach and value-added products.

About you:

You may already be an MD or GM, or a successful Commercial, Divisional or Operations Director ready to step into broader leadership.

You'll bring strong commercial instincts, P&L experience and a track record of delivering profitable growth. Experience within building materials, construction products, manufacturing or distribution would be particularly relevant.

This is an opportunity for a commercially driven, entrepreneurial leader who enjoys being strategic but close enough to the business to make things happen.
