Role Overview:

As a Managing Director of the London Caribbean Team, based in our London office, you will be part of the Caribbean Facultative Senior Leadership and Management Team, focusing on developing growth opportunities and service enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attract, retain, and upskill talent in the London team to improve client offerings.
• Work with regional leaders to deliver on strategic plans and contribute to financial and operational targets.
• Manage the pipeline, aligning resources to maximize opportunities.
• Build influence across the marketplace, including clients, cedents, reinsurers, and markets.
• Provide expert placement, structuring, and market advice for large opportunities.
• Develop high-potential talent and address expertise gaps to support growth.
• Maintain a dynamic talent pipeline across the region.
• Support talent acquisition and performance review processes in collaboration with regional and country leadership.

Success Factors:

• Extensive experience in Caribbean Direct & Facultative insurance.
• Deep regional knowledge and market understanding.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for client and team engagement.
• Proven ability to handle large, complex cross-class placements.
• Willingness to travel frequently to the region.
• Spanish language skills are a plus but not essential.
