Jo Holdsworth Recruitment are excited to be partnering with a highly successful business founder to appoint a Managing Director to lead the creation and growth of a new founder-focused business platform and portfolio of ventures.

Drawing on extensive experience of building and scaling companies, the vision is to develop a commercially successful platform that brings together a range of initiatives designed to support founders and business leaders.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced entrepreneur or senior business leader to join at an early stage and play a key role in shaping and scaling an ambitious new venture.

Overview

The venture will bring together a number of complementary initiatives designed to support founders while creating a profitable and scalable business.

While the structure will continue to evolve, the platform is expected to include areas such as:

  • A large-scale national event for founders, investors and business leaders
  • A high-level membership community for entrepreneurs
  • Investment opportunities to support growing businesses
  • Advisory services for companies preparing for growth or exit
  • A suite of AI and digital tools designed for founders
The Role

The Managing Director will lead the development, launch and growth of the venture.

Working closely with the founder, you will help shape the strategy, develop the commercial model and build the operational structure required to scale the business.

You will also be responsible for building the team, developing key partnerships and ensuring strong commercial performance across the business.

The founder will remain involved in shaping the overall direction and representing the platform externally, while the Managing Director will lead day‑to‑day execution.
