Job description

Intergas Heating (member of the Rheem family), is seeking an experienced and driven Managing Director (MD) to join our team in the United Kingdom.

Intergas Heating brings innovative heating solutions to its customers in the UK and Ireland. In a highly volatile market, that is transitioning towards a more sustainable and decarbonized environment, Intergas Heating is at a pivotal moment in its history. As MD, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the long-term vision, strategy and growth of the organization,translating the strategy into annual goals and ensuring these are communicated and embraced across all levels of the organization. You will take ownership of the chosen strategy, ensuring that all members of the team are aligned and working towards common objectives. Management of change is a key aspect of this high profile role.

Overseeing the overall management of change within the organization, you will ensure that change initiatives are completed on time, and meet the desired objectives. Utilizing your program management skills, you will coordinate multiple initiatives and align them with the organization's strategic goals.

As the Managing Director, you will lead, motivate, and chair the management team, which includes representatives from sales & marketing, finance & HR, fulfillment, and operations. You will coach, challenge and guide your direct reports, conduct performance and development discussions, and offer leadership support. Your role will involve developing the team by creating strong, cohesive well trained team that collaborates effectively. Additionally, you will assist in solving complex problems, ensuring that the team operates smoothly and efficiently.

Promoting a positive and inclusive culture aligned with Rheem values is a key aspect of this role. These values include listening to understand, thinking creatively, acting with responsibility, and contributing respectfully. You will manage organizational change and development and motivate staff, ensuring a positive work environment and the development of a high-performing team. You will ensure follow-up on actions derived from the bi-annual Employee Lifecycle Survey (ELS), chair the personnel platform, and integrate within Rheem.

Financial management is another critical responsibility. You will collaborate with the Finance Director to develop and manage budgets and multi-year plans. Monitoring the financial health of the organization and reporting monthly and quarterly will be essential tasks. You will also manage risk and compliance, ensuring that the organization operates within legal and regulatory frameworks.

Sustainable and responsible business practices are integral to the role and an important part of our strategy. You will work to reduce the organization's impact on the environment and society through the implementation of sustainable business practices. We are looking for a senior candidate with extensive leadership experience in a commercial SME organization and in a corporate environment, who excels in building a positive and inclusive culture and successfully transforming organizations. You will exude calm and lead by example, being a good networker and normally present at the Kidderminster office, while you travel both in the UK and abroad on a regular basis. Knowledge of the industry is a strong advantage in this role.
